Responsible for the overall finance and accounting functions of The Vestcor Companies, Steve Moore coordinates treasury and risk management, secures financing for new and existing developments, and monitors performance of the company’s portfolio of investments. He maintains ongoing relationships with Vestcor’s key business partners including financial institutions, insurance companies, professional-services firms, and government agencies. He has over ten years of finance and accounting experience, resulting in significant expertise in accounting, finance, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and non-profit accounting.
Prior to joining Vestcor in 2003, Mr. Moore was an Assistant Dean for The Coggin College of Business at the University of North Florida. He also worked as an auditor at Ernst & Young LLP in Jacksonville, Florida.
Mr. Moore received his bachelor’s degree in accounting and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of North Florida. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
