Tom Schacht is responsible for the firm’s multifamily capital-improvement and asset-management contracts, tenant improvements in commercial office space, and all aspects of asbestos abatement. Additionally, he oversees private-sector renovation and tenant upfits. He has been with Vestcor for 20 years, and has more than 35 years of management experience.
Mr. Schacht is a State of Florida licensed asbestos abatement contractor and has completed courses in asbestos contractor supervisor’s training, asbestos inspector’s training, asbestos management-planner training, occupational respiratory protection, and other asbestos courses offered by the University of North Florida.
A past member of the Permitting Process Committee of the Northeast Florida Builders Association, Mr. Schacht has been appointed to the St. Johns County Contractors Review Board. He also served on the San Juan Del Rio Catholic Church school board and parish council for eight years.
